Police find child porn in man's home Images, underwear, narcotics discovered in Madera arrest
Staff Report
A Madera man is facing felony charges after thousands of sexually explicit images of children and childrens' undergarments were found in his home, according to police.
According to the Madera County Sheriff's Department, 47-year-old Aaron Lewis Gaudinier was booked into the Madera County Department of Corrections shortly after noon last Thursday, after deputies found numerous images of child pornography, digital photographs of children, as well as a small pile of childrens' undergarments and narcotics.
Just before 9 a.m. on Feb. 9, Madera County Sheriff's detectives, working with the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, served a search warrant at the suspect's home located on Panoramic Drive in the county of Madera.
Sheriff's Department Public Information Officer Erica Stuart reported several thousand sexually explicit images of children were recovered.
"In addition to the graphic images, deputies also seized a bag of processed marijuana and children's underwear," she said.
Detectives were tipped off earlier this month and were able to secure a warrant to search the suspect's home.
Anyone who may have information about the suspect, Aaron Lewis Gaudinier, is asked to call either the Madera County Sheriff's Department at (559) 675-7770 or Crime Stoppers at 498-STOP.
