Honoring all veterans: Linda Lanier in concert

Linda Lanier, a national and international Nashville recording artist, will appear in concert on Friday, Feb. 10, at 7 p.m. at First Assembly of God Church in Chowchilla.

The theme of the concert is "Honoring All Veterans."

The event is sponsored by the Chowchilla American Legion Post 148 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9896.

Passion, fire and patriotism describe Lanier. She tours America singing and giving inspirational speeches. She appears on television and radio programs and performs at varied events.

She has a passion for the military, their families and the American flag.

Lanier grew up in a military family. Her father was a master sergeant in the Army during World War II. She has had family members in each branch of the military.

Her mission is to bring an awakening and awareness to the American people that they must stand for truth and justice and that they must not waiver.

She firmly believes that America needs to unite in prayer.

The Chowchilla First Assembly of God Church is located at 317 Orange Ave. Everyone is invited to the free concert.
