Jan. 30 to Feb. 8 — Declaration of Intention Period (judicial offices only)

Feb. 13 to March 9, 2012 — Nomination/ Declaration of Candidacy Period (all offices)

Candidates for any of the aforementioned offices must obtain and file nomination papers in the office of the County Clerk-Recorder, located at 200 W 4th St. in Madera. The County Clerk-Recorder will issue and file documents during normal business hours, Monday through Friday. It should be noted that the County Clerk's office is under mandatory closure on some Fridays during the filing periods outlined.
