The Le Grand Union Elementary School Multi-Purpose Room was overflowing with proud parents, family and friends for the graduation of the Class of 2010.</p><p>The graduates, dressed in blue and white gowns, took their place on stage to the traditional sounds of "Pomp and Circumstance."</p><p>The Le Grand Union Elementary School graduation ceremony each year, is not only an exciting event, it is a prestigious rite for the whole community.</p><p>Graduate Yessica Arellano welcomed all those who came to honor and celebrate with the graduating class. She then led the Flag Salute.</p><p>The Attendance Awards were announced by graduate Kassandra Garcia. Breanna Flores, Yesenia Gasper, Alexis Prado, Katelyn Grinder and Shane Grissom.,</p><p>A special Attendance Award was presented to Kinsey Hass for having perfect attendance from kindergarten through eighth grade.</p><p>Students receiving recognition for Pentathlon Gold Cords were Sterling Ayers, Marissa Belmontes, Cassandra Casanova, Carlo Del Real, Tyler Farmsworth, Kinsey Haas, Wyatt Hewlett, Wendell Hollis and Alyssa Hart. Graduate Alyssa Hart made the presentation.</p><p>Graduate Sterling Ayers announced the names of students receiving the President's Award for Educational Achievement. They included: Yessica Arellano, Alyssa Hart. Katelyn Grinder, Melissa Mankins, Maria Vera, Savanna Barnett and Jerhett Haynes.</p><p>Named to the President's Award for Educational Excellence were Kinsey Haas, Marissa Belmontes and Sterling Ayers. Graduate Melissa Mankins made the presentation.</p><p>Twenty-four out of 45 graduates achieved honor roll status. Graduate Alex Day read the names of honor roll students for the Class of 2010.
