Le Grand Community Day celebrates libraries
"Celebrating 100 Years Times Two" is the theme for the 82nd Le Grand Community Day.
The event will be held this Saturday, May 29. The "Times Two" refers to the Le Grand Union High School and the Le Grand Branch of the Merced County Library, both celebrating 100 years in the Le Grand Community.
The theme will be carried out in the Parade on Saturday, which begins at 10 a.m. and the Flower and Art Show which begins at 11 a.m.
The Barbecue Dinner will be served from noon until 2 p.m. The dinner includes deep-pit barbecue beef, beans, salad, bread and butter for $7 and a large barbecue beef sandwich for $5.
