Deadline for Chowchilla Spring Festival Queen contest nears

The deadline for accepting Chowchilla Spring Festival Queen Contest application is Friday.

Contestants must be at least 16 years of age.

Contestants that sell the most barbecue tickets will be crowned Spring Festival Queen and win a $500 cash award.

Ten cents per ticket sold will be awarded to all contestants along with additional cash awards.

The Spring Festival Committee reminds contestants that this is a great way to earn some spending money or money for school.
