CUHS boys soccer take League championship

Twenty-three Chowchilla Redskin's celebrated their undefeated league season last Thursday, Feb. 11.
The Chowchilla Union High School Boys Varsity Soccer team took a victory on their final league game against Kerman High School Lions,3-2.
Redskin Anthony Gonsalez scored the first goal in the first half of the game.
In the second half, Alejandro Fernandez scored the second goal. The Kerman Lions came up and tied the game, 2-2.
At the two-minute mark, Redskin Fernandez made the winning goal. The Redskins went undefeated in league play.
Earlier in the week, the 'Skins traveled and played against Washington Union. They came home with a 3-2 victory.
Redskin Alberto Torres brought the first half up to a 1-1 tie. 'Skin Fernandez scored two goals in the second half for the win.
The Redskins were seeded number four and hosted their first play-off game against Exeter on Tuesday, Feb. 16. Results were not available at time of publication.
The players for the Redskins Varsity Soccer consisted of Clemente Sandoval, Kaleb Eye, Sergio Serrano, Raul Dias, Alberto Torres, Luis Espinoza, Dyland de Landa, Pedro Alcaraz, Juan Sanchez, Oscar Martinez, Max Jimenez, Aramis Garcia, Andres Echeverria, Jecsan Chavarrias, Anthony Gonsalez, Alejandro Fernandez, Cesar Hernandes, Luis Salmeron, Juan Manuel Galvan, Fabian Hernandez, Rudy Santamaria, Cesar Gomez and Salvador Flores. Head Coach Martin Gomez, assistant coaches were Jose A. Gomez, Jorge Sandoval.
