Italian Catholic Federation hosts dinner

When the rain pours, the fog rolls in and the temperatures drop, Italians and their friends warm up with a delicious Polenta dinner. The Italian Catholic Federation, Branch No. 39, in Merced will serve a Polenta and Chicken Cacciatore Dinner on Wednesday, Feb. 10, fro, 5 to 7 p.m. at the Italo American Lodge Hall located at 18th and U streets in Merced.

The dinner will be served family style for a donation of $13 for adults and $7 for children under 12. Coffee and wine are included with the dinner.

Proceeds from the dinner are used for scholarships and other various community programs.

Tickets are available from the friends in Merced at Italo American Lodge at 18th and U streets, Peraino's Jewelers at 3844 G Street or in Atwater at Passadori's at Third and Broadway or from Robyn Piro at (209) 383-4817 or Mabel Willmon at (209) 769-1761.

Tickets may also be used for take out dinner. Take out dinner should be picked up at the kitchen door. Tickets will not be sold at the door.
